QueCare Privacy Policy

Draft for legal review. These terms have not yet been approved and may change before QueCare launches.

Terms of Service

Last updated: [date]

These terms apply when you use QueCare, a service of [QueueCareSolutions โ€” registered company name], [registered address] ("QueCare", "we"), on the web, on WhatsApp, on a clinic's waiting-room screen or in our app. By joining a queue or creating an account, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

What QueCare does

QueCare lets you take a token for a clinic's waiting line and see your place in it. The clinic provides your medical care and decides how its line runs (its hours, sessions, how missed turns are handled and when online joining is open). QueCare does not give medical advice, and is not for emergencies: in an emergency, go to the nearest hospital or call 112.

Who can use QueCare

You must be 18 or older to create a QueCare account. Parents and guardians can book visits for their children; children do not use QueCare themselves. When you add a child, you confirm that you are the child's parent or lawful guardian.

Wait times are estimates

Your place in line and the waiting time are estimates. They can change, for example when a doctor takes longer with a patient, takes a break, or an emergency is seen first. Please follow the clinic's messages and instructions, and arrive by the time you are given.

Your responsibilities

  • Give your real name and your own mobile number, and keep your login and one-time codes private.
  • Join only for real visits. If you can't come, cancel your visit so others can be seen sooner.
  • Do not book visits to block others, use bots or scripts, or misuse the service in any other way.

A clinic or QueCare may limit or block online joining for a number that misuses the service or repeatedly misses visits. You can still be seen by visiting the clinic's front desk.

Messages

By joining, you agree to receive messages about your visits (your token, updates, reminders and next-visit dates) on WhatsApp or SMS. Reply STOP to stop them; you can still see your place in line on the web.

Clinics

Clinics that use QueCare agree to separate terms with us, including how they look after their patients' data.

Availability

We work to keep QueCare available and accurate, but it may sometimes be interrupted (for example by network or messaging-provider problems). If QueCare is not available, the clinic's front desk can still help you.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, QueCare is not responsible for waiting times, the order in which patients are seen, missed visits, or the medical care provided by clinics. [Liability cap and exclusions โ€” to be set by legal counsel.]

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post changes here and update the date above; continuing to use QueCare means you accept them.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in [Chennai, Tamil Nadu โ€” confirm] have jurisdiction.
